My little studio is located in Magnolia, TX. All materials are ethically and sustainably sourced from the US and Canada.

Our small-batch candles are hand-poured and individually engraved by yours truly (hi, I'm Holly). All jewelry materials are intentionally sourced from the USA, carefully curated for both beauty and durability. All design & engraving is done in-house.

All artwork is painted, photographed, and professionally printed in my studio. Journals and other keepsakes (unless otherwise stated) are designed, embossed, and engraved by Holly.

And finally, every treasure you purchase is lovingly packaged (I may have an unhealthy obession with ribbon & wax) before landing safely in your hands.

I lovingly refer to these as the byline muses because, well... I'm a bit extra.

Each candle has been developed, tested, and perfected to create a world all its own. When you light your candle, you're entering your own secret garden. Or lunar valley. Or wherever you need to escape to in that moment.

The name, constellation, soundtrack, gemstone, and goddess have each been carefully chosen to reflect each scent’s unique story. It’s astrology-meets-art-meets-music, a bit like a candle oracle card, and I hope it becomes your favorite fable.

For most healthy dogs and cats, candles and pets can happily coexist.

We prefer pet-conscious to “pet-safe,” because literally no candle can promise to be perfect for every animal, species, sensitivity, or household. I love a reassuring label as much as anyone, but as a pet owner myself, transparency matters deeply.

Starlight & Sage candles use wood wicks and a coconut-apricot-beeswax blend (NO paraffin, NO soy, & NO phthalates!). Each one has been thoughtfully formulated and thoroughly tested in accordance with the ASTM F2417 candle fire-safety standard. And, as you may know, I have some particularly demanding coworkers. Every SSCo candle is developed, tested, and made in the home I share with two dogs, Theia & Skoga, and three cats, Gandalf, Pippin, & Gimli.

Five furry roommates do not constitute a scientific certification, obviously, but their little lungs, boop-worthy noses, and general insistence on being involved in absolutely everything give me a highly vested interest in keeping my candle-filled home safe and happy.

We use a luxury coconut apricot beeswax; it's creamy, clean-burning, and naturally biodegradable. No soy. No toxins. Just smooth scent throw and poetic escapism.

Our candles burn longer than both paraffin and soy candles, produce less soot, and never induce headaches. Beeswax is also known for air-purifying qualities, releasing negative ions that can neutralize pollutants.

Wood wicks create an aesthetically nostalgic crackling sound, a more even and cleaner burn, and a longer-lasting experience.

The wooden wicks are eco-friendly, clean-burning, and hand-crafted in the USA from FSC Certified Wood.

To prevent scratches, remove your shinies before bed and working out. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear, and store in your SSCo pouch for safe keeping. While SSCo jewelry is tarnish-resistant, you should still avoid exposing it to lotions, chemicals, and perfumes.

All prints are on 100% cotton archival fine art paper (300gsm). It’s soft to the touch, subtly textured, and built to last. Each one is printed in-house on a large-format, professional inkjet printer.

“Giclée” (pronounced zhee-clay) refers to a high-end fine art printing process that uses pigment-based inks on archival paper. These museum-quality prints will last you a lifetime.

In short, yes. I do my best to accurately capture each piece, but colors may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and the nature of photographing textured artwork. Each print is a faithful, high-resolution reproduction of the original.
