Starlight & Sage Co. ("SSCo") will happily accept returns for any reason as long as a request to return is received by us within 30 days of receipt of the item and is returned to us in the original packaging, unused, and in the condition in which it was received. Customers may choose a refund, exchange, or store credit.

Eligible Items: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include any free gifts with purchase (or the gift’s face value will be deducted from the refund). All items marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

Condition Requirements: Refunds are issued for items meeting SSCo's return criteria—unused, unopened, undamaged, and in their original condition. Items showing signs of use or missing components (e.g., outer boxes, pouches) may not qualify for a full refund.

Damaged, Missing or Defective Items: If your order arrives damaged or defective or is missing items, you will follow the same returns process noted below. Please be prepared to provide any photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. Without these pieces of information and images, we unfortunately cannot support these requests.
Return Submission Process
Domestic (US) Returns
If you are returning an order from the US and opted for ReturnGuard or Checkout+, a program that provides free returns and exchanges protection during the initial checkout, there will be no charge for returning your order. However, if you did not select the option for returns and exchange protection, you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label.

After approval of the return request you will have up to 30 days to complete the return or your refund will be automatically cancelled. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment or as store credit. Gift returns qualify for a SSCo eGift Card. Shipping costs are non-refundable, even for orders originally marked with "free shipping."
International Returns

If you have any trouble, please contact returns@starlightandsage.co for your return authorization number. Please note that all international customers are responsible for shipping charges including duties and taxes. When returning items, we recommend adding insurance with tracking to ensure your package arrives safely.
Shipping & Responsibility
Customers must retain proof of shipment for tracking purposes. SSCo is not responsible for lost or misdirected returns without delivery confirmation. Inspections will be conducted on unopened, undamaged items, and any approved refund will exclude all shipping costs.
Refused or Return to Sender Shipments
When parcels are refused or returned to sender (SSCo), we will reach out to confirm if you would like a reshipment. The Customer will be responsible for any reshipping costs. If the customer would like to cancel the order, shipping costs will be excluded from the refund total. Customer can opt for a refund to their original payment method, or store credit.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For orders shipped to the European Union, you may cancel or return items within 14 days of receipt for any reason. Items must be in original, unused condition, with tags and packaging intact. Return shipping must be traceable, as refunds are not provided for undelivered returns.

Return Authorization: Please contact SSCo for a return authorization before shipping. Items returned without authorization or failing to meet our criteria (e.g., used condition, missing boxes) may not qualify for a full refund.
Other Important Information

Free Gifts: Free gifts with purchase must be returned with the main product. If the free gift is not returned, its value will be deducted from the refund.

Discount Codes: Discounts, rewards vouchers, or promo codes applied to the purchase are non-refundable and non-transferable. Only the actual amount paid for the product can be refunded.

Package Protection: Package protection is valid only if selected at the time of purchase and cannot be added retroactively. Claims for lost or damaged items will only be honored if protection was opted in at checkout.
Processing Time
Upon receipt and inspection, refunds will be processed within 7 business days. Exchanges will be shipped promptly, and any difference in price will be invoiced or credited accordingly.
Purchases From Other Retailers
For any Starlight & Sage Co. products purchased through another retailer, please go directly to the original place of purchase to inquire about their return policy.
Final Disclaimer: We reserve the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not comply with the conditions stated above. If your package is not accepted, it will be sent back to you at your expense and a refund will not be granted. Items that appear used upon inspection are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
